With years of performance and teaching experience with groups and individuals of all ages, David speaks with depth and understanding in a playful and humorous way.
Keynote Speaker
David is a frequent guest speaker at The New Thought Unity Center, Cincinnati, Ohio where he also is the Music Director. He is a certified Early Childhood Trainer in Ohio and Kentucky and trains Early Childhood professionals nationwide. His ability to address small groups to thousands of people is evident in national conventions ( National Head Start Association) and local workshops (Cincinnati Leadership Council).
David uses his Master's Degree in Music Composition coupled with his knowledge of brain development, human development and his unwavering positive outlook on life to bring to each presentation a power message wrapped in playful, musical package. With his piano keyboard ever at his finger tips, he speaks, sings and sometimes dances the memorable message home.
The Three "I CAN'S
Using three preschool songs as a beginning, David takes your group on journey back to original purpose and inspiration. Why do we do what we do? And if we're not having fun, why not? With a sense of initiative (I Can Do It), connection to those around us (I Can Count On You), and some tools of self control (I Can Settle Down) we arrive at that flexible, powerful state where work becomes play.
Balance - Direction - Connection
What started out as an outline for good songwriting - a good song has Balance, Direction, and Connection - has turned into a recipe for any human endeavor, from personal projects to corporate success. Using songwriting as a model, David relates Balance (staying somewhere between bored and confused), Direction (Home, Away, and back Home Again) and Connection (all parts dancing in harmony) to the subject at hand with good humor and simplicity.
